The Year of the Dragon – Celebrating with Panda Express

Since 2007, Panda Express has been changing kids’ health to change the future at Children’s Miracle Network hospitals by raising millions of dollars throughout the year. Associates ask guests to round-up at the register, with every dollar donated creating a ripple effect in the community.

We invite you to celebrate alongside our friends at Panda Express and welcome the Year of the Dragon! On February 10, 2024, we celebrate Lunar New Year, the beginning of a new year in the Chinese zodiac, by bringing together loved ones at festivals filled with friends, family, and a variety of lucky foods.

Help us celebrate the New Year by visiting your local Panda Express and making a donation to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital! In 2023, local Panda Express stores raised over $103,000 for ETCH thanks to the generous contributions made at the register.

Also in 2023, more than $20 million was raised by Panda Express guests and associates for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide, bringing the total to more than $150M over the entirety of this partnership. These donations are used for programs that support the whole child, including their mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Additionally, Panda Cares Centers of Hope are spaces within the hospital designed to provide a safe and comforting place where kids can be kids again while they are receiving the care they need to be the future leaders, inventors, and doctors of tomorrow!
